AB Yehoshua: Jew, Zionist, Israeli - A Clarification of Terms

Posted April 20, 2009 - 5:00pm
On Friday, April 17, Israel Policy Forum and the Middle East Institute hosted renowned Israeli author AB Yehoshua to discuss and define three concepts of identity: Jew, Israeli, Zionist.
As Yehoshua commented, "I was amazed that three leaders of my party Meretz - Shulamit Aloni, Yossi Sarid, and Yossi Beilin - had different definitions of what is a Jew, an Israeli, a Zionist. I, therefore, started a campaign to provide an objective definition of each term."
Listen to Yehoshua's full discussion below. Part I includes Yehoshua's remarks; Part II includes the Question and Answer Session.
