Comments Policy
The Peace Pulse is a platform for debating and discussing a wide range of issues affecting the Middle East peace process and US diplomacy. The Peace Pulse is a part of the Israel Policy Forum's website and users of The Peace Pulse are bound to the Terms and Conditions - User Agreement relating to the Israel Policy Forum's website, as may be amended from time to time. A current copy of the User Agreement can be found here. This comments policy represents the explicit rules for posting on The Peace Pulse. Failure to comply with these regulations is grounds for termination or suspension of a user's account.
On certain posts, users will have the ability to make comments. By posting comments to The Peace Pulse you agree to be bound to the following additional requirements:
- Uploading or distributing hate speech, libelous remarks, ad hominem attacks, profanity, obscenity, pornography, abusive/aggressive behavior, as well as inflammatory, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, violent or defamatory language are grounds for suspending or terminating a user's account.
- All comments must be truthful. Lies, falsehoods and misleading information are not welcome and are cause for a user to have their account suspended or terminated.
- Submissions that encourage the violation of civil or criminal statutes are not allowed.
- Any activity deemed to be fraudulent or illegal is grounds for termination or suspension of a user's account and the user may be referred to law enforcement authorities.
- All comments must be in English.
- All comments must be of a non-commercial nature.
- Spamming the comments section, i.e., repeated postings of the same material, is prohibited.
- The user indemnifies and holds harmless Israel Policy Forum, and all of its officers, directors, owners, agents, employees, information providers, affiliates, licensors and licensees from any and all liability, claims and expenses related to or incurred from any claim related to an allegation of a breach of this agreement by the user.
Israel Policy Forum has the right to determine if a particular comment violates this comment policy. Comments are moderated before appearing on the site. Due to volume and timing, there can be a delay in when a comment is posted to the site. We appreciate your patience and request that you refrain from double posting any comments. We reserve the right to remove or withhold publication, with no prior notice needed, of any comment that we believe violates this policy or is otherwise inappropriate.
